We offer eyelash tinting which can really enhance the eyes and is great for people wanting the get up & go look. It is great for holidays and swimmers who don't want to apply makeup daily. We also offer eyebrow tinting and shaping which really opens up the eyes 

We recommend tinting them on a monthly basis as the tint fades gradually and gets lighter in time 

to be on the safe side a patch test is recommended at least 24 hours prior to having the treatment done because a mild peroxide is used however a skin reaction is very rare 

Waxing  - hair removal is a great and low cost to way to temporarily remove hair fom the root. It can be done anywhere on the face and body and is suitable for females and males to maintain smooth hair free skin. 

Waxing is an extremely common type of depilatory method to temporarily remove hair from the skin by the roots as it gives longer lasting results than shaving and hair removal creams.  

Wax is applied to the skin and clings onto the hairs, when the wax is removed, the hair stuck to the wax will also be removed leaving the skin smooth. The hair grows back finer. 

• Softer and smoother skin - as well as removing hairs by the root, the wax also removes dead skin cells and dry skin leaving your skin much softer and smoother  
• Less regrowth in-between appointments - Hair grows back finer and more sparse 
• Less nicks and cut 
• Less itching and prickliness  
• Less stubble

Depending on your pain threshold, some people describe waxing as painless, but in short yes there is some  discomfort with waxing because when the hairs roots are pulled from the follicles , it triggers the nerve endings that causes an instant shock of pain, although the pain subsides within seconds, the area treated can still feel tender after. 

Waxing can be more painful around the time of your menstrual date due to a shift in hormones and a heightened sensation level. 

Taking Ibuprofen 30 minutes before your waxing appointment can decrease inflammation and reduce pain. Cold packs before waxing can slightly numb the area can also help to decrease swelling after. 

Pre-waxing Advice 

• DO NOT shave the hair. Please let your hair grow to at least 3-4 mm. If the hair is too short, this can cause pulling of the hair without removal from the root causing pain and missing hairs.  
• Hydrate your skin by drinking lots of water and moisturise on the days leading up to your wax appointment 
• Wear loose clothing for your waxing - hair removal appointment  

 Aftercare Advice  

• NO Heat treatments - Avoid heat treatments such as sunbeds, saunas, hot baths and showers etc. for at least 24 hours after waxing 
• NO Tanning – sunbathing, fake tan,  
• No Sports – avoid causing sweat by doing sports or the gym 
• No touching or scratching  
• Wear clean loose-fitting clothes  

Soft wax – Also know as creme wax, this type of wax is used with a paper or cotton strip to remove the wax from the skin. Is suitable for large and small body areas with normal hair texture like legs, arms, face etc

For a standard bikini line wax, no you do not need to remove your underwear. Protection for your underwear will be put in place and waxing would be done around your underwear.  

If you are having a Brazilian or Hollywood wax then yes, it is much more thorough and quicker if your underwear is removed, however, if you are not comfortable with this, we can work around them.
