Dermal fillers are gel like texture of hyaluronic acid that is inserted into the soft skin to plump  and create volume, its ideal for loss of volume in aged skin 


Most people are suitable and can benefit from dermal fillers although the ideal candidate is someone of good health who doesn't smoke.  People with blood disorders or allergies are contraindicated as well as pregnancy.


Botox is insterted into the muscle to relax it to reduce & prevent fine lines and wrinkles 


They both have  different benefits and work well together. Botox is most commonly used for the upper head and eyes where as fillers is ideal for filling and  plumping the lower face such as lips, cheeks and sile lines. 


As most fillers contain Lidocaine which is an anaesthetic which numbs the skin so although you can feel it, it shouldn't not be painful  


Do not drink alcohol before treatment a s this can thin the blood and cause bleeding.  Drink plenty of water to ensure you body is hydrated which will assist in healing


For 24-48 hours

  • Avoid heat treatments such as sauna's sunbeds 
  • Avoid, excessive exercise, swimming and hot tubs Jacuzzis
  • Avoid applying makeup to the open skin 
  • Keep clean
  • Expect some mild swelling after treatment this can be soothed with a cold compres
