The main differences between the two types of permanent hair removal treatment are:

• Laser is ideal for larger areas or dense areas of hair that have dark pigment in as the laser will not work on fair hair, blonde, white or red hair electrolysis is the only option for these hair types
• Laser can treat a lot of hairs faster than electrolysis so the long term results will be quicker 
• Laser is virtually pain free & non invasive whereas as electrolysis can cause some discomfort and needs some downtime to heal
