Healing process 

Following mole removal and other similar blemishes, the skin will appear darker in the treated area and may take anything from a few days and up to a week before it starts to improve in appearance as it heals. 

• As with any wound, keep the area clean and dry
• Drink plenty of water before & after treatment to keep skin hydrated
• Avoid touching the area and under no circumstances should you pick it, any skin crust should heal naturally
• Apply aloe Vera often to aid in healing
• Skin tag removal and laser mole removal have pretty much no downtime, you could have them done on your lunchbreak

How to check your mole to see if it is safe?

The following ABCDE’s are important signs to look for that could be signs of skin cancer. If the mole displays any of the following signs, have it checked by a medical professional immediately.

Check your own moles using the ABCDE’s method:

Asymmetry: One half of the mole does not match the other half 

Border: The border edges of the mole are irregular, ragged or blurred

Colour: The mole has different colours or has drastically changed in colour 

Diameter: The diameter of the mole is larger than the eraser on a pencil

Evolving: The mole appears different from others and/or is changing in shape, size or colour

Although I would always recommend having any new blemishes checked out by a medical professional before seeking to have it removed. Oftentimes or not they're completely safe.
